Our commitment to you
We stand behind every refinishing project with a 2‑year workmanship guarantee — in writing, backed by the owner, and honored personally.
What's covered
If the finish we applied peels, loses adhesion, or develops defects attributable to our workmanship within the guarantee period, we come back and fix it — at no charge to you.
Any peeling or flaking of the applied finish within the guarantee period is covered, provided the surface was properly prepared.
If primer or topcoat fails to adhere to the substrate due to workmanship — not to exposure to conditions outside normal kitchen use — it's covered.
Drips, sags, uneven coverage, or color inconsistencies attributable to application — not to how you clean or use the cabinets — are covered.

The touch-up program
At project completion, you receive a labeled touch-up bottle matched to your finish color — plus one complimentary in-person visit from Jeremiah to address any minor touch-up needs.

Why this matters
A 1-800 warranty number doesn't show up at your door. When you have an issue with a Jerry & Co. project, you call the same number you called for your estimate — and the same person answers.
Guarantee claims go directly to Jeremiah. No ticket system, no escalation ladder, no waiting on hold.
The person who did your job is the person who evaluates your concern — with full context of what was applied and how.
If your issue is covered, we schedule a return visit — typically within one week of your contact.
For condo & multi-unit projects
Condo and multi-unit projects carry additional protections related to elevator use, hallway access, and shared-space protection.
We use protective padding on freight elevator walls and hallway surfaces during material transport. Any incidental damage to common-area surfaces caused by our materials in transit is our responsibility to repair.
Finish, dust, and VOC containment is maintained within the contracted unit. We take responsibility for any overspray or residue in directly adjacent areas that results from our work.
If a building manager or HOA identifies a concern related to our work in common areas, we coordinate directly — you don't have to be the intermediary.
Plain language — what's not covered
Gradual dulling or patina development over years of use is not a workmanship defect.
Abrasive scrubbers, bleach-based cleaners, or solvents that strip the topcoat are not covered. We provide finish-safe cleaning guidance at project close.
Chips, dents, or gouges from physical impact after project completion are not covered under workmanship.
Finish damage resulting from water immersion, flooding, or prolonged water exposure is excluded.
Requests to change the selected color after project completion are outside guarantee scope and billed as a new project.
Damage or defects in the cabinet substrate that were present before work began and were disclosed or visible at the time of project start.
